Other Communities The Desert Sands Unified School District includes 14 elementary schools, two of which serve La Quinta. The other primary schools serve Bermuda Dunes, Indian Wells, Indio and Palm Desert. At the middle school level, city students attend La Quinta Middle School. At the secondary level, La Quinta students attend La Quinta High School. It's a new school, and state statistics aren't yet available. La Quinta residents also have access to Continuation schools. La Familia and Amistad offer continuation programs, each serving the entire district. Adult education programs are offered at the Palm View School campus.
